Kate Lynch is an environmental portraitist and photojournalist, follower of things with wings, a scribe for the human tribe. Her work is about place and how people, flora and fauna interact with or influence that place. She likes to push the limits of what we perceive as real through photo montage or illustration. Kate trained as a photographer and journalist at Arizona State University, where she earned a bachelor of fine arts. She studied digital design photography at Pierce College and the Nikon School. Her work has been exhibited, published, and collected in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and New Jersey.
